Jill Zemke





Jill was born in Michigan, the daughter of John Claud Zemke and Madeline Mary Zemke.

She is survived by sisters, Ann Graham Ehringer of Santa Monica, CA, Kate Flowers of North Palm Beach, FL, Marge Enberg of Durham, NC, and Penny Zemke of Jupiter, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Jill was predeceased by her husband, Bill Thompson.

Jill was an active real estate broker in Sonoma County for over 35 years. She was a generous volunteer for many organizations including The Treasure House, Council on Aging, and Pace. She was involved in the Santa Rosa Players Community Theatre Group. In addition, Jill was an accomplished artist and participated in many local art exhibitions.

Jill earned her BA from Michigan State University and her MA from San Francisco State University in Art Therapy and Creative Arts.

She enjoyed traveling and playing golf and mah-jongg with her friends.

Jill was dearly loved and will be sincerely missed by her family and everyone who knew her. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 14, 2016 at Daniels Chapel of Roses.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Heart Association or charity of choice.
